    Hello Lindy Hoppers!

I've officially launched my new community website a few weeks back (during Frankie week) and wanted to post about it. (Yup a bit slow on the marketing, esp. during tax season). Please come check it out! So far already 9 countries reporting in and over half the states in the US represented!

I AM LINDY HOP - be a part of Lindy history
    http://iamlindyhop.com

Please come visit, add your photo to the collage, and add a story or two !

    What the site is:
Two things: A place to gather stories, share stories, and make them part of NEW Lindy Hop history. And also a place for Lindy Hoppers to add their photo to a collage, creating an image of the many faces of Lindy Hoppers from all walks of life.

    Why I did this:
Originally I had a much longer answer here .. but you can read all about it in my FAQ

    http://iamlindyhop.com/faq.php

Instead of taking up space with those long answers, I'll just list a few of my favorite stories thus far:

    Joseph:
He got started as a way to relieve stress, and through Lindy Hop found his life partner and current fiance Kristy
    http://www.iamlindyhop.com/show_user.php?rid=456

    Mike:
He is a veteran who upon finishing his last tour of duty came home and grew increasingly detached to life "living the combat veteran cliché for over a year". He now celebrates Lindy as the thing that pulled him back into life. "I can very well say that all who are a part of the SoCal swing scene saved one soldier's life."
    http://www.iamlindyhop.com/show_user.php?rid=529

And a recent favorite, because it's a great example that no story is too small:

Ahmed, who simply writes "My lindy story is a blank book waiting to be written."

Hope you all have a chance to come by and visit and add your photo and story! No story too small...and if you still think you have no story to add, just come add a photo and a joke or two [Emoticon not found]

    Thanks!!
    Ben
