Location: 346 S. 500 E. at the DF Latin Dance Studio
Beginner Lessons: 8-9pm (East Coast and Lindy Hop)
Dance: 9-12pm
Day: Every Friday with a Special Saturday Party every 4 weeks
Cost: $5 or $3 for Swing Utah Members

Thanks for a great 1st Downtown Stomp! It was great. Thanks or Grant and Sherri for teaching the beginner class, Shane and Emily teaching the Shim Sham, and Tim, Sarah, Kevin, John, and Emily for being taxi dancers and getting people out on the floor.
Our Shim Sham for Frankie went well. We had fun doing it with a new crowd.

Last week was great. Thanks to everyone who came. Remember this week we will be on Saturday with a live band. This will be so fun. We are also having a Jack and Jill contest. Come and compete for our super cool prize.

I know you have a dance the same night but for any of you who will already be in Salt Lake, Saturday June 27th we will be having our Independence Day Cellibration! This will be a great dance with Ron as our dj. We will be having a Red, White, and Blue outfit contest. Great prizes for the winners. See you there.

Due to lower numbers we may be closing at 11pm some nights. If there are enough people we will go until 12am. Bring your friends and we can party until midnight every week.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Stomp will be going on this Friday, Jan. 8th.
Kristen and Tombstone (Wyatt) will be DJing. This will be a great chance to warm-up for ULX next weekend.
The Downtown Stomp Lindy Hop Venue is moving the second week of April to a brand new building a long with DF Latin Dance Studio. It is going to be much bigger and better! There will be 3 rooms, so we are guaranteed to have a dance EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT! No more 3 Fridays a month.
Friday April 9 we are having a HUGE PARTY to celebrate our move and the first night in our new place. We will have great music by Shane Shurtliff and Sage, dancing, food, and an open Jack and Jill contest. The J&J is free to enter, and there will be prizes for the winners. There is no excuse not to enter. The Stomp will be hopping, and all the dancers will be out(Last week we had close to 100 people). You don't want to miss this! Can't wait to see you all there!
