Hey! I haven't seen anyone mention Swing Utah's new ad for the New Year's Eve party in SLC. It's the first event after I get back to the States and I was wondering how many Provolones were going up. How good does it look to y'all? Anyone familiar with the Royal Crown Revue and want to share an opinion? I'm feeling kind of tight-fisted, and am not sure it's worth even the thirty bucks I'd have to spend if I hunted down a friend to take the other half of a "couple".

The Royal crown Revue has been around forever (over a decade). They were in and performed the music for the movie, "The Mask."

While definitely a Neo-swing band, they have some really fun stuff. I have a 1997 CD with somewhat less Neo songs like "I love the Life I live", "the Walkin' Blues", and my favorite version of "Beyond the Sea."

No idea what the set is and who I will be going with, but it sounds pretty cool.
