This is the second request I've gotten for swing dance instruction, and for some reason I think handling these is my least favorite part of being president. I've got to find somebody to delegate that to, I guess. Anyway, here's the original request:
This is very short notice, but I am in great need of someone to do a little
dance instruction at the Provo Maceys Food & Drug this Saturday from
10-11am. We had advertised line dancing instruction and now I have no line
dance teacher, but think any dance instruction would do. If anyone can help

Good thing they advertised line dancing instruction. While they don't know the difference between dances we certainly do. I don't think it's in the club's best interest to reinforce any associations between words that describe swing dancing and those that describe country dancing.
I would politely decline such a request and inform them you'd be happy to teach when they advertise swing dancing and there are instructors available.
I'm pretty sure most people know the difference between line dancing and... pretty much anything else. Unless you planned on showing up in chaps.
FYI, someone has expressed interest about helping, and I sent them the contact numbers.
Also, I suppose they could theoretically learn the Jitterbug Stroll.
