what music do you dance to when you don't have a live band? i want some music to practice to ...
So many good songs... I shall list just a few of my current favorites:
1) Lionel Hampton's Orchestra - Lavendar Coffin
2) Martin Sexton - 13 Step Boogie
3) Lester Young with Oscar Peterson - Two to Tango
4) Anything by Ella Fitzgerald...
Of course, if you are looking for big band music, I like Django Reinhardt and of course Duke Ellington.

Actually, as G4L has already pointed out... i kind of consider everything blues by default... [Emoticon not found]
And it really depends on your defintion of blues. ElChuy blues, yes. Normal blues, not really.
