-When: Thursday, January 12, 2006, 7:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. The night before ULX2006.
-Admission is $5.00 for non-UofU students.

The Lloyd Miller Band will be performing in the Union Ballroom (University of Utah) this Thursday, January 12th. Both a beginner and an intermediate class will be offered, so come prepared to learn cool new moves with which to dazzle your friends! Lessons will be from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. and dancing until 10:45 p.m.
Admission costs are $3/ U's student and $5/everyone else.
We are in need of volunteers to either help 1) set up 2) take down or 3) sit at the admission table for a 45 minute shift. In return you will get free
admission and the swing club's appreciation and gratitude.

(you can't email Evan because he's out of town, or rather, out of the country).

This is pretty random and off topic but I played in a Persian music band with Lloyd last semester.
Amazing musician even though he is INSANE (especially when he starts talking about how Islam and the LDS church are the same thing only different name or when he told us he triggered the Revolution in Iran while he was studying music there).

edit: i think that 'recurring events' has to be the most misunderstood forum... it's for RECURRING EVENTS. i.e. if the event is only happening once, it prob'ly doesn't go there. even if it happens more than once (like an exchange) it prob'ly doesn't go there. mostly, lets talk about venues and such. since they happen on a RECURRING BASIS. mmmkay?
