Topic of Discussion: Should BYUSA have two club nights instead of one?

Current Situation: All clubs that use hardwood floors meet on Tuesday Club Nights. However, because the number of clubs and students attending club night has increased, space has become an issue. The rooms currently being used are the (1) East Ballroom, (2) Main Ballroom –which can be divided into two rooms, (3) West Ballroom, (4) Garden Court and (5) room 5519.

Benefits of Having Two Club Nights:
-Better chance of clubs securing their preferred room
-More space
-Less noise conflicts
-Students can attend more clubs instead of choosing a maximum of two
-Clubs could meet more than once a week

Problems of Having Two Club Nights:
-Might not work with some student’s schedules
-Could reduce student turn out
-Could create confusion
-May not be the same atmosphere

Please email me by Friday with a list of pros, cons or any other suggestions your club has pertaining these proposed changes.

Hey, so what do you-all guys think? Two club nights? Depending which nights they are, should we push really hard to stay on the Tuesday one? Seems to me like we'd like to stay on Tuesdays, and it's nice to have the SDC right after us.
